L. Ron Hubbard founded the Volunteer Ministers program

^{I love the essay L. Ron Hubbard wrote about the Scientology Volunteer Ministers program in 1976. It is just as pertinent today as it was then. Here's a quote from it:}

"A Volunteer Minister is a person who helps his fellow man on a volunteer basis by restoring purpose, truth and spiritual values to the lives of others.
